Whirling dervish

Not Christian or Jew or Muslim, not Hindu, Buddhist, sufi, or zen. Not any religion
or cultural system. I am not from the East or the West, not out of the ocean or up
from the ground, not natural or ethereal, not composed of elements at all. I do not exist,
am not an entity in this world or the next, did not descend from Adam or Eve or any
origin story. My place is placeless, a trace of the traceless. Neither body or soul.
I belong to the beloved, have seen the two worlds as one and that one call to and know,
first, last, outer, inner, only that breath breathing human being.

Magnificent!
Magnificent!
Magnificent & Beautiful Post Tess!

I came here for inspiration
this morning
essence peaking
from behind the clouds.

thoughts not quite ready
to take themselves
serious yet.

In walks a friend
offering me
a gentle morning dance.

Grabbing my hand,
shows me how living
so close to the source
is pure grace and tenderness!

Deep Bow of Appreciation Tess!

thank you - really lovely! I'd love this poem to be placed in One Light Many Windows - do you have a link or any other reference for it?

This reminds me a little of what Gandhi said when he was asked if he was Hindu

“Yes I am. I am also a Christian, a Muslim, a Buddhist and a Jew.”

truly wonderful. This is one of my favourite Rumi poems, and what a heart delightful picture of a child showing Namaste! look at that cheeky grin! I'm only sorry I don't have time to listen to the videos today, so much work this week before I go out of town again. Love to you, and thanks again to Zennie for pointing the way.
